Water damage treatments vary depending on the extent of the damage but usually take 1 to 3 hours. For mail-in repairs, we repair and dispatch your device the same day we receive it, with delivery the following working day.

Phone Clinic offers a lifetime warranty on all iPhone screen replacements. For all other repairs — including battery replacements, charging ports, water damage treatment, and back glass — we provide a 12-month warranty on both parts and labour. Our warranty covers defects in the components we install and the quality of our workmanship. It does not cover accidental damage, drops, or liquid damage that occurs after the repair is completed. No. Phone Clinic does not wipe your personal data during standard hardware repairs such as screen, battery, or charging port replacements. Your photos, contacts, apps, and messages will remain exactly as you left them. We strongly recommend backing up your device before any repair as a general precaution. For software repairs or water damage treatment, data recovery cannot always be guaranteed — this is why we advise backing up first.
Absolutely. If you are not sure what the problem is, simply book a diagnostic appointment. Our technicians will thoroughly test your device to identify the exact fault. We will then give you a clear, honest price quote before carrying out any work. There is no obligation to proceed with the repair after the diagnostic. The diagnostic itself is free of charge at all Phone Clinic stores.

Yes — and the sooner you bring it to us, the better the chances of a full recovery. If your phone has been water damaged, do not attempt to charge it or turn it on. Do not put it in rice — rice dust can block the charging port and cause further damage. Bring it to your nearest Phone Clinic store or book a mail-in repair as quickly as possible. Our technicians will clean and dry the internal components using specialist equipment. We have a high success rate for water damage treatment, though the outcome depends on how long the device was in contact with liquid.
