Screen replacement

We replace the OLED screen with a new one. It's a 6.7 inch display, the biggest in the iPhone 12 range, so we take extra care fitting it and checking for even touch response across the whole screen. Face ID keeps working after the swap. We reseal the water resistance and test everything before giving it back.

Battery replacement

We take out the old battery and fit a new one. We check that it charges properly, holds power, and that MagSafe wireless charging still works. If your Pro Max isn't lasting like it used to, this brings it back.

Charging port repair

We replace the charging port. This also fixes microphone and vibration problems since they share the same part inside the phone. We test charging, data transfer, and call audio before handing it back.

Camera Repair

Three rear cameras: main, ultra wide, and telephoto. We can replace any one without touching the others. You only pay for the one that's broken. We test autofocus, zoom, Night Mode, and video recording before giving it back. The front camera is also replaceable.

Back Glass Repair

We remove the cracked back glass, check the MagSafe magnets and wireless charging coil underneath, and fit new glass. The Pro Max has the largest back panel in the 12 range, so the repair takes a bit longer. We test wireless charging after fitting.

Face ID Fix

If Face ID has stopped working or only works sometimes, we'll find out what's gone wrong and fix it. We keep your original parts wherever possible so Face ID stays fully functional. We test it before giving it back.

Is It Worth Repairing an iPhone 12 Pro Max in 2026?

Yes. It runs iOS 26 and Apple has confirmed it’ll get iOS 27 too. Every app in the App Store works on it. It’s not going anywhere.

The 6.7 inch OLED screen is still one of the best viewing experiences you can get on a phone. The triple camera with Night Mode on all three lenses still takes photos that hold up against much newer phones. The stainless steel frame ages well.

People bought the Pro Max for the big screen. Nothing about that has changed. A screen or battery replacement gives you a phone that runs the same software as anything Apple sells today, at a fraction of the cost.

How Long Does an iPhone 12 Pro Max Repair Take?

Most repairs take 30 to 45 minutes.

Battery swaps are the quickest. Screen replacements take around 30 to 40 minutes. The 6.7 inch screen takes a bit longer to fit and test than the 6.1 inch screen on the 12 Pro, but it’s still same day.

Camera repairs are straightforward. Each of the three rear cameras is a separate part, so we only replace the one that’s failed.

Face ID repairs take 30 to 60 minutes depending on the fault.

Back glass repairs take 45 minutes to an hour because of the larger panel.

You can wait in store or leave it with us. All stores are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm.

Took my phone here around 2 in the afternoon, the screen was smashed and it was completely unusable. Picked it up again at 2.45, fully repaired, guy couldn't be friendlier and showed me why my phone was so expensive to repair, (almost half the phone needed changing, thanks samsung for your well designed part). And although the price was expensive it was still very reasonable compared to elsewhere. Will definitely go to this shop again if i need my phone fixing again and will be recommending to everyone

I had an unfortunate accident, I dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen. I immediately worried about the cost of a repair. I rang several phone shops who wanted £100 for a repair. I then found The Phone Village on Scunthorpe High Street the me £50. I took my phone in and the guys were great I was told it would take 30 mins. On my return the repair had been expertly done. They fitted a free screen protector and case ( yes free of charge). Absolutely fantastic service. I would recommend them to anyone in my situation.

Today I went into Phone village for the first time with a chap I support who is a technology enthusiast and collector. We were greeted by two kind workers and my chap explained he likes to collect old phones and technology which don't necessarily need to be working he just likes to collect and compare them with modern devices. The workers listened closely and attentively and went and got a load of phones for him to look through. They were really impressed as my chap is vision impaired but he is able to work out phone types by touching and recognising features on the phones and was able to say accurately which ones he had been presented with. He picked out the ones he wanted and asked how much they wanted for them but they kindly let him take them for free. They also said they will keep some in storage for if we visits in future as he said it was lovely to meet another phone collector. The workers were kind and polite through out amazing customer service shown highly recommend them for a new phone or service. Thank you Phone village 😊❤️
