Tablet Repair Services

Screen Replacement

Cracked screen is the most common tablet repair. Cracked glass, dead spots, or touch that won't respond. We replace the screen and test the display and touch across the whole panel before you collect.

Battery Replacement

If your tablet shuts down early or won't hold charge, a fresh battery fixes it. We check it charges and holds properly before handover.

Charging Port Repair

Loose port, or it only charges at an angle? We clean or replace the port and test a full charge, on both USB-C and older iPad connectors.

Camera Repair

Cracked lens or a camera that won't focus. We replace the front or rear camera and test it before you collect.

Button and speaker repair

Home, volume or power buttons that stick or don't respond, or a speaker that's crackly or silent. We repair or replace them and test each one.

Software troubleshooting

Frozen screen, boot loop, an iPad stuck on the Apple logo, or just running slow. We work to fix it without wiping your data wherever we can.

What We Have

Apple iPad

The iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPad Pro, including older models. iPads are the bulk of our tablet work, so our technicians know them well. Samsung Galaxy Tab and other Android tablets, mainly screens and batteries. If you've got a less common tablet, call or bring it in and we'll tell you whether we can help first.

Repair Time

Most tablet repairs are done the same day, often within a couple of hours, so a screen or battery is usually a drop-off-and-collect job. If your model needs a part ordered in, it can take a day or two, and we'll tell you that at drop-off. Either way you get a time estimate before we start.

What it costs

Tablet repairs are quoted per job, since the price depends on the model and the repair. An iPad Pro screen, for example, costs more than a standard iPad screen because the display is more advanced. You get a fixed price before any work starts. If you'd like us to run a diagnostic to pin down a fault, that's £10, and it comes off the repair cost if you go ahead.

Took my phone here around 2 in the afternoon, the screen was smashed and it was completely unusable. Picked it up again at 2.45, fully repaired, guy couldn't be friendlier and showed me why my phone was so expensive to repair, (almost half the phone needed changing, thanks samsung for your well designed part). And although the price was expensive it was still very reasonable compared to elsewhere. Will definitely go to this shop again if i need my phone fixing again and will be recommending to everyone

Pretty good prices, was skeptic at first because I took my iPhone in to get new battery and with it not being apple labour or product it didn’t recognise at first but it does the job! 👌🏼

I had an unfortunate accident, I dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen. I immediately worried about the cost of a repair. I rang several phone shops who wanted £100 for a repair. I then found The Phone Village on Scunthorpe High Street the me £50. I took my phone in and the guys were great I was told it would take 30 mins. On my return the repair had been expertly done. They fitted a free screen protector and case ( yes free of charge). Absolutely fantastic service. I would recommend them to anyone in my situation.

Today I went into Phone village for the first time with a chap I support who is a technology enthusiast and collector. We were greeted by two kind workers and my chap explained he likes to collect old phones and technology which don't necessarily need to be working he just likes to collect and compare them with modern devices. The workers listened closely and attentively and went and got a load of phones for him to look through. They were really impressed as my chap is vision impaired but he is able to work out phone types by touching and recognising features on the phones and was able to say accurately which ones he had been presented with. He picked out the ones he wanted and asked how much they wanted for them but they kindly let him take them for free. They also said they will keep some in storage for if we visits in future as he said it was lovely to meet another phone collector. The workers were kind and polite through out amazing customer service shown highly recommend them for a new phone or service. Thank you Phone village 😊❤️

How long does a tablet repair take?

Most are done the same day, often within a couple of hours. If a part has to be ordered in for your model, it can take a day or two. We’ll give you a time estimate at drop-off.

How much does an iPad or tablet repair cost?

It’s quoted per job, based on the model and the repair. An iPad Pro screen costs more than a standard iPad screen, for example. You always get a fixed price before any work starts.

Which tablets do you repair?

Mainly iPads, the iPad, Air, Mini and Pro, including older models, plus Samsung Galaxy Tab and other Android tablets. If you’re not sure we cover yours, call or bring it in and we’ll tell you first.

Do tablet repairs come with a warranty?

Yes. Tablet repairs are covered by a 6 month warranty. Claims go to the store that did the repair, and the full details are on our warranty page.

Will I lose my data when you repair my tablet?

A screen or battery repair doesn’t touch your photos, apps or files. For software faults we work to keep your data intact, but we’ll always suggest backing up first where you can.

Can I send my tablet by post for repair?

Yes. We run a mail-in repair service, arranged over the phone or by message, with the same warranty as an in-store repair. Mail-in isn’t same day, since it depends on the post, but we turn tablets around as fast as we can once they arrive.
