Screen replacement

Full display assembly replacement for the 5.5 inch 1080p screen, including the LCD, digitiser, front glass, and 3D Touch pressure sensor. The Full HD resolution means every pixel matters. We transfer your original Touch ID home button and calibrate 3D Touch across the larger display area before handback.

Battery replacement

The 6s Plus has a 2750 mAh battery, which was actually smaller than the 2915 mAh cell in the older iPhone 6 Plus. Apple traded battery capacity for the Taptic Engine and 3D Touch hardware. After years of use, that reduced capacity drops even further. We fit a fresh cell and test charging before you leave.

Charging port repair

We replace the full Lightning dock flex cable. On the 6s Plus, this assembly includes the headphone jack, primary microphone, and cellular antenna connections. If your phone charges intermittently, will not sync with a computer, or the microphone cuts out during calls, this single part swap covers all three.

Camera Repair

The 6s Plus carries a 12MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation and 4K video recording, plus a 5MP front camera with Retina Flash. If OIS has failed (blurry photos even in good light), the rear camera module needs replacing. We test autofocus, stabilisation, and video recording on the new module before completing the repair.

Software troubleshooting

If your iPhone 6s Plus is frozen, stuck on the Apple logo, running slowly on iOS 15, or showing storage errors, we can diagnose and fix the problem while you wait. We also help with iCloud lock issues and data recovery where possible.

Network unlocking

The iPhone 6s Plus still runs iOS 15, which Apple patched as recently as May 2026 with security update 15.8.5. That puts it in a much better position than the older iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, which are stuck on iOS 12 with no further updates.

Most mainstream apps still support iOS 15 today. WhatsApp, YouTube, Spotify, and Safari all run without issues. Some banking apps and newer social media apps have started requiring iOS 16, so it is worth checking the specific apps you rely on.

The 5.5 inch Full HD screen still feels comfortable for video, reading, and browsing. If you use your 6s Plus as a daily phone, a secondary device, or a dedicated media player, a screen or battery replacement is a sensible investment. The repair cost is a fraction of what a replacement device would set you back.

How Long Does an iPhone 6s Plus Repair Take?

Most iPhone 6s Plus repairs take around 30 to 45 minutes. The larger 5.5 inch display takes a little longer to fit and calibrate than the 4.7 inch screen on the standard 6s, but it is still a same day job.

Battery swaps are the quickest repair on this model. Screen replacements take slightly longer because we need to transfer the Touch ID button, fit the new 3D Touch sensor layer, and test pressure sensitivity across the full screen area.

Camera replacements are straightforward since the rear module is a single unit that includes the OIS assembly.

You can wait in store or drop your phone off and pick it up later. All 14 stores are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm.

Took my phone here around 2 in the afternoon, the screen was smashed and it was completely unusable. Picked it up again at 2.45, fully repaired, guy couldn't be friendlier and showed me why my phone was so expensive to repair, (almost half the phone needed changing, thanks samsung for your well designed part). And although the price was expensive it was still very reasonable compared to elsewhere. Will definitely go to this shop again if i need my phone fixing again and will be recommending to everyone

I had an unfortunate accident, I dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen. I immediately worried about the cost of a repair. I rang several phone shops who wanted £100 for a repair. I then found The Phone Village on Scunthorpe High Street the me £50. I took my phone in and the guys were great I was told it would take 30 mins. On my return the repair had been expertly done. They fitted a free screen protector and case ( yes free of charge). Absolutely fantastic service. I would recommend them to anyone in my situation.

Today I went into Phone village for the first time with a chap I support who is a technology enthusiast and collector. We were greeted by two kind workers and my chap explained he likes to collect old phones and technology which don't necessarily need to be working he just likes to collect and compare them with modern devices. The workers listened closely and attentively and went and got a load of phones for him to look through. They were really impressed as my chap is vision impaired but he is able to work out phone types by touching and recognising features on the phones and was able to say accurately which ones he had been presented with. He picked out the ones he wanted and asked how much they wanted for them but they kindly let him take them for free. They also said they will keep some in storage for if we visits in future as he said it was lovely to meet another phone collector. The workers were kind and polite through out amazing customer service shown highly recommend them for a new phone or service. Thank you Phone village 😊❤️
