iPhone XS Repairs We Offer

Screen replacement

We replace the OLED screen with a new one. Face ID keeps working after the swap. We reseal the water resistance around the edges and check that touch, colour, and brightness all work properly before giving it back.

Battery replacement

We take out the old battery and fit a new one. We make sure it charges properly, holds power through the day, and that wireless charging still works. The screen is resealed to keep the water resistance intact.

Face ID Repair

If Face ID has stopped working or only works sometimes, we find out which part of the front camera has failed and fix it. We keep your original parts wherever possible so Face ID stays fully functional. We test it before giving it back.

Camera Repair

We replace the rear camera and test that autofocus, zoom, Portrait Mode, and video recording all work. The front camera is also replaceable. If only one of the two rear lenses has failed, we can replace just that one.

Back Glass Repair

We remove the cracked back glass, check the wireless charging coil underneath, and fit new glass. The stainless steel frame is checked for any damage that could stop the new glass sitting properly. We test wireless charging after fitting.

Charging Port Repair

We replace the charging port, which also fixes microphone and vibration issues since they share the same part. We test charging, data transfer, and call audio before handing it back.

Is It Worth Repairing an iPhone XS in 2026?

Yes. The iPhone XS runs iOS 18, which Apple is still updating. That means security patches, new features, and almost every app in the App Store works on it.

This puts the XS in a completely different position from the iPhone X, which is stuck on iOS 16 with no more updates. The XS jumped ahead because of its newer processor, and that extra software support makes it worth holding onto.

The phone still feels fast for everyday use. Social media, banking, streaming, browsing, and camera all work without lag. If your XS just needs a new screen or battery, the repair cost is a fraction of buying a replacement phone and you get a device that still has software support ahead of it.

How Long Does an iPhone XS Repair Take?

Most iPhone XS repairs take 30 to 45 minutes.

Battery swaps are the quickest. Screen replacements take around 30 minutes including resealing and testing.

Face ID repairs take 30 to 60 minutes depending on what has gone wrong.

Back glass repairs take 45 minutes to an hour. The stainless steel frame holds up better than aluminium in a drop, so we see less frame damage on the XS than on the XR.

You can wait in store or leave your phone with us and pick it up later. All 14 stores are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm.

Took my phone here around 2 in the afternoon, the screen was smashed and it was completely unusable. Picked it up again at 2.45, fully repaired, guy couldn't be friendlier and showed me why my phone was so expensive to repair, (almost half the phone needed changing, thanks samsung for your well designed part). And although the price was expensive it was still very reasonable compared to elsewhere. Will definitely go to this shop again if i need my phone fixing again and will be recommending to everyone

I had an unfortunate accident, I dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen. I immediately worried about the cost of a repair. I rang several phone shops who wanted £100 for a repair. I then found The Phone Village on Scunthorpe High Street the me £50. I took my phone in and the guys were great I was told it would take 30 mins. On my return the repair had been expertly done. They fitted a free screen protector and case ( yes free of charge). Absolutely fantastic service. I would recommend them to anyone in my situation.

Today I went into Phone village for the first time with a chap I support who is a technology enthusiast and collector. We were greeted by two kind workers and my chap explained he likes to collect old phones and technology which don't necessarily need to be working he just likes to collect and compare them with modern devices. The workers listened closely and attentively and went and got a load of phones for him to look through. They were really impressed as my chap is vision impaired but he is able to work out phone types by touching and recognising features on the phones and was able to say accurately which ones he had been presented with. He picked out the ones he wanted and asked how much they wanted for them but they kindly let him take them for free. They also said they will keep some in storage for if we visits in future as he said it was lovely to meet another phone collector. The workers were kind and polite through out amazing customer service shown highly recommend them for a new phone or service. Thank you Phone village 😊❤️
